Tembisa Hospital caught fire.

The Gauteng Department of Health (GDoH) confirms that a fire broke out at the Accident and Emergency Unit of Tembisa Provincial Tertiary Hospital (TPTH) on April 19, 2025.  Fortunately, patients were safely evacuated, and there have been no reports of injuries or casualties. Stolen corpse still not found.

The authorities have confirmed that no arrests have been made in connection with the theft of three bodies from a mortuary in Kuruman, Northern Cape. It has been two weeks since the authorities began searching for suspects and the three bodies of two adults and a 10-day-old baby girl that were stolen from a mortuary in Kuruman.  Two unknown suspects broke into the funeral home, assaulted and tied up the security guard around 1:30 am on March 17, 2025, in Kuruman, Northern Cape.  The suspects then stole three corpses, one of a baby girl and two adult men.
