The authorities have confirmed that no arrests have been made in connection with the theft of three bodies from a mortuary in Kuruman, Northern Cape.
It has been two weeks since the authorities began searching for suspects and the three bodies of two adults and a 10-day-old baby girl that were stolen from a mortuary in Kuruman.
Two unknown suspects broke into the funeral home, assaulted and tied up the security guard around 1:30 am on March 17, 2025, in Kuruman, Northern Cape.
The suspects then stole three corpses, one of a baby girl and two adult men. Northern Cape police spokesperson Lt-Col Sergio Kock stated that a case of business robbery has been opened in Kuruman.
Anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects is asked to contact Lt-Col Doggy Magugu at 082 469 0578, the SAPS Crime Stop number 08600 10111, or the MySAPS app.
