A 21 year old woman arrested for drug trafficking.

A 21-year-old woman arrested for drug trafficking at OR Tambo International Airport. A joint operation between the South African Police Service (SAPS) and the South African Revenue Services (SARS) Customs at the OR Tambo International (ORTIA) Airport has led to the arrest of a 21-year-old South African woman for drug trafficking.  This is the eleventh drug mule to be arrested at OR Tambo in a period of two months.  The drug mule was profiled and intercepted as she was arriving on a flight from São Paulo, Brazil on Sunday morning, just before 09h00.  She was taken to a local hospital where an X-ray confirmed that she was having foreign objects in her stomach.  She has already released a number of bullets from her body and is in police custody where police are closely monitoring the release of further drug bullets.  This process is still unfolding.

Nota Baloyi is facing rape charges.

Itumeleng Bokaba files rape case against Nota Baloyi. Itumeleng Bokaba has filed a rape case against Nota Baloyi, a South African multi-talented artist.  Itu recently made headlines because of the minimal payment she received for her contribution to Kwesta's 2016 song. Makwa revealed that Kwesta was not at fault, but rather Baloyi who allegedly defrauded artists involved in the song. The self professed music executive with more controversies than a reality show has reportedly found himself in a bit of a Diddy/R Kelly kinda situation as Itumeleng has opened a rape case against him.  After being summoned by the police for a serious criminal charge, which he did not disclose, Nota asked for prayers on social media.  It was later disclosed that Itumeleng had pressed serious charges against Nota, accusing him of forcing himself on September 4th at his residence.

A man arrested for trying to cross border with a hard cash.

A 39 year old man has been arrested in Mpumalanga at the Oshoek border gate while he attempted to cross to Eswatini with a black bag containing sum of R420 800 in cash. The man was arrested after he tried to bribe border securities so that they let him cross over to Swaziland.

Life sentence for infecting a partner with HIV.

A man who is a former member of South African National Defence Force (SANDF) Was given a life sentence for knowingly transmitting HIV to his partner. Leon Santos Conga, the former member of the South African National Defence Force has been handed a life sentence for knowingly transmitting HIV to his partner.  Despite being aware of his HIV positive status since 2007, Conga engaged in unprotected sexual activities with his partner.  The victim had legal representation from Adv Gerrie Nel of Afriforum's Private Prosecution Unit.

An R85 million rand, Wall between South Africa and Mozambique under way.

The South African government is building an 85 million wall between South Africa and Mozambique. Construction is currently under way as  contractors, construct a wall along the border between South Africa and Mozambique in the Province of KwaZulu-Natal.  The wall is calculated at an amount of R85 million and it is believed that once the projects is finished it will help in reducing criminal activities made by foreign nationals such as vehicle smuggling and hijackings, and illegal entries for both countries. The wall is expected to be at 160 kilometres long and it is made of reinforced of reinforced concrete. The contractor is also expected to install the 24/7 camera surveillance and advanced security measures.

South African Weather Services gives warnings of this weekend weather.

South African Weather services(SAWS) Report give warnings of a heavy low-level possible snow. According to reports, it is stated that there's a possibility of a very heavy low-level snowfall this weekend again and a yellow level 2 warnings for damaging winds leading to localised settlement informal and formal. Snow have hit part of the country including KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng, Eastern Cape, Mpumalanga and Free state Province since Friday, 20 September 2024. On the 23 September 2024, the Weather focast issued stern warning of a possible snow.  The data show's a heavy low-level snowfall possibility from this coming weekend. It may reduce completely, it may scale back, or the dates may change.  Public and motorists are advised to take Weather reports into account when planning on travelling from one place to another to stay safe. Virgins Bursary Fund ceases to exist.

Funds meant to support rural female virgins has been cancelled in KwaZulu-Natal. Dudu Mazibuko, the former mayor of uThukela District Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal, has criticized black parents and cultural leaders for failing to protect the maiden’s bursary fund, which was recently terminated.  Established in 2016, the fund aimed to support young women, including virgins, in pursuing higher education with an allocation of R1 million. Despite 67 rural students receiving assistance, only 16 were maidens. The initiative faced backlash from women’s rights organizations and the Commission for Gender Equality, who argued that it discriminated against non-virgins.  This criticism ultimately led to the cancellation of the program, highlighting ongoing tensions between cultural practices and contemporary gender equality concerns.

A female drug mule arrested.

The Police have arrested a 30-year-old female Namibian drug mule has been arrested at the OR Tambo International Airport. SAPS, SARS custom, and immigration officials were following up on intelligence from SAPS of a drug mule that would land from Sau Paulo at about 07:25. The team immediately intercepted the drug mule as she was making her way through immigration. The process to release the suspected drugs from her body is underway. She has already released more than 60 bullets of suspected cocaine thus far. She is currently under police guard and custody. This is the tenth drug mule to be arrested at the OR Tambo International Airport in the past two months and more than R30 million worth of drugs have been seized.

Four Pretoria Police arrested.

Four police officers in Pretoria, were arrested for unlawfully holding a man from Ethiopia and demanding R50,000 for his release.  The man's brother tried to pay R10,000 for bail, but the officers refused.  They were operating outside their jurisdiction.  Instead of taking a bribe, they seized 36 pairs of sneakers worth R36,000

People lose their lives in a collision.

Tragedy strikes as four individuals, including a child, lose their lives in a collision between a truck and an SUV on the R40 road between Barberton and Mbombela.  The victims have tragically perished in the accident, and burnt beyond recognition.

Zimbabwean national arrested for trying to smuggle a stolen car.

The South African Police have arrested a Zimbabwean national for attempting to smuggle stolen vehicle through boarder. A 33-year-old Zimbabwean national was arrested for various offenses, including possession of a presumed stolen motor vehicle and violation of the Immigration Act during an anti-smuggling operation in the Polokwane policing area on Friday, 20th September 2024.  According to reports, the Limpopo SAPS Provincial Anti-Smuggling Task Team received information about a stolen vehicle intended for smuggling out of the country.  The team successfully arrested a Zimbabwean male national who was driving a white Toyota Fortuner behind Peter Mokaba Stadium on the N1 road.

A member of Boko Haram group in Mamelodi shot dead by another gang.

A suspected member of a Boko Haram gang was shot at a car wash in Mamelodi East Ext 5.  Boko Haram group in Mamelodi have been known for terrorising the community for some years. The group is known by collecting money from the businesses, government entities, rooms, transportation etc as part of the protection fee. Until today no one is able to link the group to the Nigerian Boko Haram terrorist group but the group continues to collect the protection fee even when some members are killed now and then. The victim, from Nellmapius Ext 3, was ambushed by six individuals driving white and blue city golfs armed with rifles shortly after arriving at the car wash.  The incident is believed to be part of a violent struggle for control over territory and extortion of businesses money among rival groups. Police have arrested 6 foreign nationals in connection with unlicensed fire arms and ammunition.

Police have arrested 6 foreign nationals in Westonaria, West Rand. On the scene the authorities seized six firearms and 350 rounds of ammunition. Authorities conducted a “disruptive operation” following a number of murders behind Kloof Plant One.

Criminals gained access to a local filling station.

In the early hours of Wednesday, a group of criminals raided the Global filling station in  Limpopo near Ga Big Boy in Ga-Masemola.  The criminals fired shots for about 30 minutes as they gained. The unity of the community members led them to catching one of the suspect and gave him a beating before before SAPS could take over. They claim that police arrived late after the incident. The community members now also launched a petition to remove the Ga-Masemola police station commander. R5000.00 up for grabs from Pastor Mboro.

Pastor Mboro is giving out a reward of Five thousand rand(R5000.00) to anyone with information regarding the burning of his Church. The self proclaimed Pastor was arrested last month after he was seen on a video holding a panga threatening to use it against school teachers. Immideately after his arrest, his Katlehong church was seen up in flames in a video where the community and school children seemed to be the cause of it's smoke.   Mboro recently on Thursday, 12 September 2024 received a bail of Three thousand rand (R3000.00) after his legal team told the Palm Ridge Magistrate's court that the gun, his body guard carried was a toy that was bought through proper channels. Police are seeking your assistance that may lead to the arrest of a man known by Putin.

The police in KwaZulu Natal is seeking for assistance that may lead to the arrest of a man known by "Putin" or "Mjinja". SAPS is on the hunt for suspect whose connected to extortion and firearms cases in KZN. Linda Hlongwa, who the police revealed that he's also known as "Mjinja" and "Putin", is issued with a warrant of arrest by the Pinetown Magistrate's Court.  Hlongwa is a suspect in string extortion cases and has been linked to illegal firearms possession, and illegal possession of ammo.  The KwaZulu-Natal police are actively searching for Hlongwa, who has also been accused of terrorizing many business owners in the Mariannhill area. Life sentence for a serial rapist and a killer.

The case of the serial rapist and killer Sifiso Mkhwanazi has come to an end with a life sentence verdict. The 21 year old Sifiso Mkhwanazi was arrested in October 2022 after the bodies of 6 women who were sex workers found at his fathers panel beating workshop in Johannesburg central 2022.  Last month the 21st Aug 2024 the South Gauteng High Court in Palm ridge has found Mkhwanazi guilty of several counts of rape, murder, theft, illegal firearm and defeating the ends of justice.  However he denied to raping the women as he declares that they had an agreement of money exchange and he since admitted to the killing of the women describing that he used an arm choke and after that hid their bodies to different location in the same business premises. Mkhwanazi also disclosed that his reasons to kill them was because the sex workers became greedy and demanded more money than what they agreed on. Mr Mojalefa sadly passed on.

Earlier this month, Mamelodi News ran a story of a man who went missing.  Mr Mojalefa Isack Khanye went missing on Wednesday, 04 September 2024.  His car was found stripped without him, then after days he was also found and received medical treatment at Baragwanath Hospital. Khaye was in ICU for several days and now we leaned the news of his passing.  He was an employee of Sun City Correctional services. May his soul rest in peace 🕊️

Rest In Peace to Umfundisi Untshebe. Philani Mabanga known as "Untshebe"  has sadly passed on. Mabanga was one of the greatest comedians who performed their skills though music. On the statement written by BI phakathi, he pleaded with the Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture Gayton McKenzie seeking that they assist in burying him as he lived with a less than 13 year old child. May his soul rest in peace. 🕊❤️‍🩹

The renown South African musician Makhadzi is crying for help. Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona born in June 30, 1996 known as Makhadzi claims that there's someone who hacked her album and therefore she's forced to realise her songs in the blink of an eye. The social media users where able to identify the so called hacker as Makhadzi her self. It seems like the confusion between Chris Excel and Bianca Costa will not end anytime soon. Bianca Costa celebrate her 29th birthday and some social media users still think she's Chris Excel. Costa is known by her famous photo profile on a catfish X account "Chris Excel" and most people still think she's the master mind behind the account. The people who knows that Costa and Chris Excel are two different people seemed to be having fun when it was announced that Costa is having a birthday day, as the Cat fish Chris Excel just had his birthday recently. Thabo Bester back in Court this time representing himself.

Thabo Bester is back in court and this time representing himself. During his appearance he was fighting for permission to use a laptop to prepare for his trial in February next year. Thabo Bester, a convicted rapist and murderer, express in court that he has lived without access to newspapers, radios, watches, and even knowledge of the time over the past 16 months.  Despite his criminal background, Bester is now requesting a laptop to aid in preparing for his upcoming trial related to an alleged prison break attempt scheduled for February next year. Bester went further telling the court of how Australia & USA Prisoners are using the Internet in Jail! Also, Finland, Belgium & Denmark. Kwenisto made peace with not being booked for ShebeshxtOne man show event.

“Yes, it does hurt me that am not included on Shebeshxt Maburnzel Cashxtrinton One Man Show. But God knows my heart. Am not entitled to be booked. Shebe is my boy and I know the politics around it. I made peace”, Makgakga said on his facebook post. MC, Social media influencer and the former Thobela Fm presenter, Kwenisto Makgakga have posted about his dissatisfaction of not being a participant in Shebeshxt’s One-Man-Show that is to take place at the end of September.  Makgakga, the Moletji born wanted to be part of the event and unfortunately since it is connected to politics, that influences the reason he's not booked. He says he made peace with it. The event is supported by the current Polokwane Mayor John Mpe’s foundation and is scheduled for 21 September 2024 at the Polokwane rugby stadium.

Traffic officials arrested for issuing drivers licences.

Fourteen traffic officials including, traffic officers and a driving school operator, have been arrested in a joint operation by the Road Traffic Management’s Anti-Corruption Unit (NTACU), the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI) and Police Crime Intelligence in Mpumalanga on charges of fraud and corruption relating to the irregular issuing of driver’s licenses and solicitation gratification. The takedown operation took place in Sabie, Granskop, Lydenberg, Elukwatini and Verena where suspects aged between 34 and 59 yearswere nabbed in a coordinated law enforcement drive. A male and female examiner of licences together with a driving school operator were arrested at Sabie driving licence testing centre (DLTC) while four (4) examiners of driving licences were nabbed at Lydenberg DLTC including two (2) examiners in Graskop DLTC.    The arrests followed extensive investigations involving the RTMC Anti-Corruption Unit, the Hawks, and the Crime Intelligence.  The...
