An R85 million rand, Wall between South Africa and Mozambique under way.

The South African government is building an 85 million wall between South Africa and Mozambique.


Construction is currently under way as  contractors, construct a wall along the border between South Africa and Mozambique in the Province of KwaZulu-Natal. 





The wall is calculated at an amount of R85 million and it is believed that once the projects is finished it will help in reducing criminal activities made by foreign nationals such as vehicle smuggling and hijackings, and illegal entries for both countries.






The wall is expected to be at 160 kilometres long and it is made of reinforced of reinforced concrete.



The contractor is also expected to install the 24/7 camera surveillance and advanced security measures.
