The case of the serial rapist and killer Sifiso Mkhwanazi has come to an end with a life sentence verdict.
The 21 year old Sifiso Mkhwanazi was arrested in October 2022 after the bodies of 6 women who were sex workers found at his fathers panel beating workshop in Johannesburg central 2022.
Last month the 21st Aug 2024 the South Gauteng High Court in Palm ridge has found Mkhwanazi guilty of several counts of rape, murder, theft, illegal firearm and defeating the ends of justice.
However he denied to raping the women as he declares that they had an agreement of money exchange and he since admitted to the killing of the women describing that he used an arm choke and after that hid their bodies to different location in the same business premises.
Mkhwanazi also disclosed that his reasons to kill them was because the sex workers became greedy and demanded more money than what they agreed on.
Mkhwanazi has been handed a life sentence for the murder and rape of six sex workers in Johannesburg between April and October 2021.
The court has also labeled Mkhwanazi as a dangerous criminal.
