The South African Police have arrested a Zimbabwean national for attempting to smuggle stolen vehicle through boarder.
A 33-year-old Zimbabwean national was arrested for various offenses, including possession of a presumed stolen motor vehicle and violation of the Immigration Act during an anti-smuggling operation in the Polokwane policing area on Friday, 20th September 2024.
According to reports, the Limpopo SAPS Provincial Anti-Smuggling Task Team received information about a stolen vehicle intended for smuggling out of the country.
The team successfully arrested a Zimbabwean male national who was driving a white Toyota Fortuner behind Peter Mokaba Stadium on the N1 road.
