South African Weather services(SAWS) Report give warnings of a heavy low-level possible snow.
According to reports, it is stated that there's a possibility of a very heavy low-level snowfall this weekend again and a yellow level 2 warnings for damaging winds leading to localised settlement informal and formal.
Snow have hit part of the country including KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng, Eastern Cape, Mpumalanga and Free state Province since Friday, 20 September 2024.
On the 23 September 2024, the Weather focast issued stern warning of a possible snow.
The data show's a heavy low-level snowfall possibility from this coming weekend. It may reduce completely, it may scale back, or the dates may change.
Public and motorists are advised to take Weather reports into account when planning on travelling from one place to another to stay safe.
The coming snow is expected to hit Northern cape, Eastern Cape, Western Cape, North West and Free state.
"Considering that our forecasts helped a lot of people decide not to travel well in advance of the weekend's snow disaster, we believe that this advance forecast is vital no matter how it finally unfolds" it was said.
"Currently data indicates it could be more substantial that the snow from this weekend, but it is vital to note that this is an advance forecast" they continued.
Authorities are also expected to be on standby to assist incase many citizens may need help like this past weekend.
