Soweto couple found in submerged car.

The Bodies of missing Soweto couple have been discovered in submerged car. The Soweto couple were reported missing about a week ago after disappearing. Recently police have confirmed that they've discoverd the two bodies believed to be of the missing couple's inside a submerged white Hyundai i10 near Lakeview, along the Chris Hani Road. The couple was reported missing a week ago, leading to a case being filed at Moroka SAPS. Their bodies were found trapped in the vehicle in a nearby stream, though details surrounding the incident remain unclear. Family members gathered at the scene as police launched an investigation into the circumstances of their deaths. A postmortem examination is scheduled to assist in determining the cause.

Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has resigned.

Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, the member of Economic Freedom Fighters have finally decided to resign from the party politics. Earlier this year Ndlozi handed his resignation as a member of parliament due to some parties internal battles. Recently Ndlozi was seen praising President Ramaphosa for the good work. Afriforum not ready to leave South Africa.

AfriForum vows not to leave South Africa amid Trump’s aid freeze and refugee offer AfriForum has committed to staying in South Africa despite U.S. President Donald Trump's executive order freezing aid to the country and offering to resettle Afrikaner farmers as refugees in the U.S.  AfriForum's CEO, Kallie Kriel, emphasized that leaving South Africa is not an option for the organization.  The group has also called for targeted sanctions against ANC leaders rather than measures that would harm the broader population.

Six Men arrested in Mamelodi on various charges including Attempted murder.

The police have arrested Six men on Friday, 7th February 2025, morning in Mamelodi East. The suspects are apprehended for attempted murder, dealing in drugs and other charges. The Police spokesperson Captain Andre van Dyk said the six men face charges of attempted murder, possession of an unlicensed firearm and live ammunition, and dealing in drugs. “The arrests follow after information was received from the community by Mamelodi SAPS members, which acted on information regarding three individuals, aged 43, 25, and 21, allegedly involved in drug dealing.” He said the men were apprehended at three separate locations in Mamelodi East, after a operational takedown was planned and executed. The officers seized 41 sachets of Nyaope, 103 rocks of cocaine, and 32 packets of dagga, with an estimated street value of R10,500. “In addition, three more suspects were arrested during the same operation for attempted murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm and live ammunition. Hawks Arrested a white farmer for repackaging food.

A 30-year-old farmer was arrested in Mpumalanga by the Hawks for allegedly repackaging expired and rotten food to sell for human consumption.  Authorities discovered two warehouses filled with unsuitable food, including canned products, rotten meat, and expired dairy.  Several vehicles and equipment used for repackaging were seized.  The suspect is expected to appear in court soon.

A polo car overturns alone on R568 road.

A vehicle overturned and caused injuries to occupants. It is alleged that in the early hours of Friday, Morning, 31 January a polo vehicle which seemed to have been travelling from Kwamhlanga side to Ekangala side using R568 had an accident. According to Kekseo Medical Services they reported that a motor vehicle accident was reported on R568 in Ekangala, where the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn.  All patients received medical attention at the scene and were subsequently transported safely to a nearby hospital. The medical services said it was greatful that communities continue to report the accident to them through their App called Namola. It now marks Six years, since Amahle went missing.

This is Amahle, it is alleged that she has been missing since 2019 and now marks 6 years since she's been missing. Still no information about her whereabouts or whether she's still alive or not. Her father lost his life last year without knowing where his daughter is. (I heard it was due to an accident) I can't imagine what her mother and the family are going through.  So if you think your life is tough or going through a lot, just thinking about this.😭💔💔💔💔
