The Bodies of missing Soweto couple have been discovered in submerged car.

The Soweto couple were reported missing about a week ago after disappearing.

Recently police have confirmed that they've discoverd the two bodies believed to be of the missing couple's inside a submerged white Hyundai i10 near Lakeview, along the Chris Hani Road.

The couple was reported missing a week ago, leading to a case being filed at Moroka SAPS. Their bodies were found trapped in the vehicle in a nearby stream, though details surrounding the incident remain unclear.

Family members gathered at the scene as police launched an investigation into the circumstances of their deaths. A postmortem examination is scheduled to assist in determining the cause.
