No taxi patrol is allowed to stop any private car except their own taxis.

Taxi association patrollers have no legal authority to pull over, impound or fine ‘private’ vehicles because they have passengers, or for any other reason(s).  According to Justice, Crime Prevention and Security they revealed that only Law enforcement agencies retain sole authority to pull over all motorists and if needs be, impound or issue fines for any Road Traffic Act violations. Taxi association members are strongly warned against engaging in illegal activities, including pulling over, holding hostage, and financially extorting ‘fining’ private vehicles. The man who invented Please Call Me refuses 20 Billion payout.

It has been a long battle, between Nkosana Kenneth Makate and the telecommunications giant Vodacom.  The case have been in and out of courts for a period of 8 years with no progress, then in the year 2016 the Constitutional Court ruled in favour of Makate and ordered the parties to negotiate for a reasonable amount. During the negotiations and calculations between the two, Vodacom came back with an offer of R47 million which Makate rejected while calling it "Shocking" and "Insulting" The matter returned to court recently where Makate told the Constitutional Court that he would accept the payout of R9.4 billion from Vodacom after Supreme Court of Appeal granted him to claim the 18 years interest which amounted to up to 20 Billion of rands for the invention of the "Please Call Me".

Home Affairs to cancel the IDs and traveling documents of Miss Universe Nigeria, Chidimma Adentshina and her mother.

  Home affairs will be cancelling the IDs and the travelling documents of Chidimma Adentshina and her mother.  Few months during ago social media filled with arguments after after a young black woman participated in Miss South Africa 2024. The young girl by the name Chidimma Adentshina was seen bullied while some tried to defend her, especially as an African black woman. The argument was that she's not a South African and that she must not be allowed to participate is Miss South Africa. The Department of Home Affairs then launched an official investigation about the citizenship of Chidimma Adetshina, based on a request from the event organizers. The investigation, which has expanded in scope, has found prima facie indications of fraud and identity theft allegedly committed by Adetshina's mother in 2001.  It was concluded that Miss Universe Nigeria may have not participated in the fraud done by her mother but she is a beneficiary. Tragedy strikes a family during lobola celebrations.

A Tavern owner allegedly killed Seven people, including a 3 year old baby. The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday morning after an altercation at a local tavern when a man, frustrated by the tavern's closure, argued with the owner. It is alleged that the matter escalated further when the tarven owner allegedly followed the man home, where a family was celebrating lobola negotiations. The suspect, he then opened fire, killing five family members, a neighbour, and a friend. The suspect then returned to his home in Evaton and turned the gun on himself. The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday morning at an informal settlement of Mokokotlong in Orange Farm,Gauteng.

The Police in Limpopo have arrested another Rosemary type of a person.

Police Sergeant arrested on insurance fraud murders spree.  The National Police Commissioner, General Fannie Masemola, has welcomed the arrest of a 43yr-old Sergeant attached to a police station in Limpopo. Sergeant was arrested while on duty after being investigated by her colleague for some years on allegations of fraudulent claims from funeral policies. According to investigations, they concluded that she started her claims back in 2019 killing the innocents after insuring them, then claim from various insurers.  It is alleged that she targeted people from disadvantage families including the disabled and mentally challenged. The Sergeant took life policy or funeral covers on the victims names with her as a beneficiary then would later kill them in order to claim from the insurer. The suspect is expected to appear before the Polokwane District Court on the 11th October 2024, Friday. She is facing six counts of murder and about seventeen cases of fraud.

End of era for a Drip footwear.

Breaking news. Today marks a sad day as a black owned company Drip Footwear face's liquidation. The High Court of Johannesburg has issued a ruling for the liquidation of Drip Footwear as a company. The liquidation process involves selling off the company's assets to pay off its debts, and once that process is complete, the company will be dissolved and will no longer exist as a legal entity on the official register. Drip Footwear have been drowning in millions of debts for some time with it's leader also facing personal issues in the marriage. Few months back MEC Lebogang Maile wrote a letter to reserve bank in an attempt to ask the bank to assist in reviving the black owned entity. Today unfortunately at has come to the end of the road for the company leaving all those who used to depend on it stranded. What is your view about this matter? We value your feedback.

A man who allegedly shot his girlfriend 7 times in Mamelodi is arrested.

A man who allegedly shot his girlfriend 7 times in Mamelodi on October 6, 2024, after a heated argument turned violent is arrested. The suspect shot his mother and brother when they tried to intervene, resulting in his girlfriend's tragic death.  He then fled the scene but later shot two colleagues and set their vehicles on fire.  Thankfully, the colleagues survived and are currently in the hospital. The suspect is now in police custody.
