Tragedy struck in Magogoe Koikoi village outside Mahikeng, North West Province, as a young boy lost his life in a fatal accident. 

The incident occurred while the family was gathered at the local cemetery for a tombstone unveiling ceremony. 

A vehicle carrying four male occupants collided with several parked vehicles near the cemetery, resulting in the boy's untimely death.

Four other individuals who were present at the unveiling sustained minor injuries and were promptly taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

It was reported that the driver of the vehicle was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.

Authorities are investigating the incident as a culpable homicide case, and efforts are being made to determine the circumstances that led to this tragic event. .
