McKenzie secures SABC broadcast rights for Springboks vs All Blacks SuperSport CEO Rendani Ramovha shared, "Following discussions with SARU and Minister Gayton McKenzie, we have come together to commemorate 30 years of democracy."  It is appropriate that we have teamed up with SABC for this special occasion to showcase this match to television audiences. SuperSport and SABC have united for a one-time broadcast of the match on SABC 2.  This agreement was made after Minister of Sport, Arts, and Culture Gayton McKenzie's one-week request to SuperSport for this collaboration.  SuperSport and SABC will jointly air the Springboks vs. All Blacks match tomorrow.

The Team of Solly Moholo is seeking donations to help pay for his medical bills. Gospel artist Solly Moholo, known as Solomon Molokoane, has been hospitalized in South Africa after falling ill in Botswana and being transferred on Wednesday, 28 August.  The singer was in Botswana to launch his forthcoming album "Wubani O zo Pepeza". He fell ill after his perfomance when he was back to his residence.  His management team is now reaching out to fans and the broader community for financial support to cover medical expenses.  Moholo is currently in the intensive care unit (ICU) and medical professionals have determined that he requires a critical brain operation.  In a statement, his management emphasized the urgent need for assistance to ensure the iconic singer's recovery and expressed gratitude for any contributions made towards his medical expenses.

Miss Universe Nigeria contestant whose real name is Ufa Dania known as Miss Kwara the plus size model is the chosen one by the South African social media influencers such as ChrisExcell, Kwena Molekwa and supporters. Miss Kwara is now leading the Miss Universe Nigeria Pageant, surpassing Chidima with 19.02% of the votes, while Chidima is standing at 16.99%. A deceased woman whose body was found in a car driven by a 21-year-old man has been identified as Renee Lea. Renee Lea is a co-owner of the Pick n Pay Family franchise and a resident of Standerton, in Mpumalanga. Lea was was found murdered on August 24 in Pretoria, hours after being reported missing. The provided CCTV footage showed her vehicle leaving Standerton around 20:11. It is alleged that the suspect broke into her house, stolen some few things, made damage before killing her and kidnapped her during that time she was seen leaving home on the provided footage. After tracing her car the Police found the suspect with Lea's lifeless body in the car, three firearms in the vehicle, including one replica, as well as laptops, cash, and her cellphone. The suspect was apprehended on the 24 August 2024 at a petrol station in Moreletta Park in the early hours of Saturday. 

Taxi drivers at Nkowankowa Taxi Rank celebrate Women’s Month in style. The taxi drivers in Nkowankowa, Limpopo dressed like women in order to celebrate women’s month. Passengers where filled with joy and laughter while the message is received in a good way which is an appreciation to all women for all of their contributions to our society. Striving to embody the essence of the celebration, they the drivers went beyond just attire, borrowing garments from their wives, girlfriends, and daughters and some of the drivers even enhanced their transformation, by applying makeup. The Police in Limpopo have arrested a woman for a murder of her husband in Namakgale, Mopani District. The authorities where called on the scene where a 52 year old woman from Namakgale, Mopani District in Limpopo have killed her 63 year old husband. The witness confirm that the incident took place at their home on Tuesday on the 27 August around 22h00. The information received suggest that the fight rose when the alleged intoxicated husband ordered their two grandchildren to leave the house in Malungwane village in Mopani District. It is said that the grandmother started defending her grandchildren and as result she assaulted the victim with unknown objects on his upper body. The 52 year old woman was arrested on the following day, Wednesday and the police have opened the case of a murder as the victim died on the scene and the investigations continues.

The Department of Correctional Services have finally started disciplining officials over contraband cellphone use after inmate's 'soft life' allegations video went viral a month ago. The disciplinary comes after the viral video where inmates expressed themselves as enjoying their lifes in prison in July 2024, at the Goodwood Correctional Centre in the Western Cape.   This made people to have another picture of South African prisons and also pose serious security breaches within South Africa's correctional facilities and their workers. The DSC conducted the investigations after the social media video of the inmates went viral and they found 6 officials implicated in the illegal activities of giving inmates unauthorised cellphones in the prison. The officials to face music soon.  

Minister of Home Affairs has launched the innovative digital transformation plan to improve services and security at the department. The current minister of Home Affairs Leon Schreiber has announced that the Department of Home Affairs have initiated a significant digital transformation to bolster national security, increase efficiency, and boost job creation.  Applicants will no longer have to visit the department offices to collect physical letters as they implemented digital for waiver outcome applicants. The move will reduce the paper work of the pending 80 000 pending applications and same money and time for the applicant. Home Affairs is committed to swift modernization and digitization efforts they say.

The beauty of Khanyi Mbau is extended as she undergoes cosmetic surgery to look more appealing. Recently the actress and musician Khanyi Mbau shared a video of herself showing post transformation surgery and social media filled with buzz and debates rose about her transformation.  Miss Mbau also expressed her disappointment about the effects of Botox and fillers which led her to find a permanent solution for her skin. When she posted the video she was happy about how her face was wrapped. According to her Instagram post, she underwent a blepharoplasty, which is a surgery to get rid of some excess skin around her eyelids. On top of that, she opted for a subnasal lip lift to give her lips a fabulous boost in shape.

Earlier today afternoon a man identified as a taxi boss was gunned down. It is alleged that the taxi boss had gone to relax with his three friends when the tragedy met him. The unknown gun man fired shots at them, leaving the taxi boss dead and his friends with injuries. The incident happened this afternoon in Balfour Park, near Alexandra on Wednesday. The police are investigating the motive for the shooting but they have strong reason to believe that the killing is associated with Taxi violence.

It is alleged that Miss Sibandze has two Identities of which one is a South African with a different Age and the other one is stamped as a Swaziland nationality with a different age and surnames compared to the South African one. Even though there's no specific legislation in South Africa that addresses and prosecute the individuals directly of the identity theft or fraud but the law breakers are often charged with common law offences such as forgery and fraud. A 35-year-old man from Tsakane in Ekurhuleni has been sentenced to life imprisonment for raping a 12-year-old after accusing a group of minors of stealing soccer poles.  The Tsakane regional court sentenced Vusi Elias Khoza on Monday.  National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson Lumka Mahanjana said the child was raped in October 2015.

Motlatsi Mafatshe won the Best Male Actor prize for his performance as Molefe in "House of Zwide," while attending the 7th Royalty Soapie Awards with his partner Gabisile Tshabalala. Motlatsi Mafashe is a South African actor and a musician. The South African weather service is giving warnings to Gauteng residents as the cold temperature is expected to drop as the cold front travels heading to the southern parts. In the recent weather forecast the South African news weather revealed that this cold front is expected drop from the 28 (Wednesday) August 2024 and it could drop to the mid to high29s around Gauteng especially the northern side and the southern parts is where it will be more cold. The temperature is also expected to lower even more on Friday which might make it the coldest day between 18/20 degrees. The weather service also warned Places like Western Cape are also warned of the strong winds from today and that may damage things especially around Central Karoo.

The Police operation happening currently in KwaZulu-Natal, Point area, so far it found more than 120 undocumented foreign nationals have been arrested and the police have also recovered over 100 rounds of ammunition. The police operation led by General Mkhwanazi also found around 4 million (Us dollar) fake notes, illegal drugs, ammunition and many other illegal activities are under investigation such as illegal occupation of buildings, municipal bill's that aren't paid. Amongst the illegal immigrant foreigners found in the raid in Durban today, one of them is a wanted serial rapist whose DNA had previously been linked to many rape cases of girls and women around Umlazi.  Police also arrested 6 of suspects who were wanted for a string of murder cases in uMzinyathi. A Gospel star singer Solly Moholo is reportedly being hospitalised in Botswana. It is alleged that Moholo headed to Botswana to pre launch his new upcoming album titled "Wubani O zo Pepeza". Being in Botswana he also had bookings which he honered and they all where successful. When Mr Moholo was back to his residence, they had to rush him to the hospital as he didn't feel alright. We wish him a speedy recovery.

The medical aid was called on a scene after a man set himself on fire at Legabeng Village, after being abused by his wife.  The incident of a man who set himself on fire happened near Marula platinum mine in burgersfort in Limpopo. It is reported that the man was last seen with a container of a fuel going into the bushes, he then poured it on himself and also drank it and set himself on fire. It is alleged that while he was burning he ran towards the mine as he pleaded for the help. He was seen by some mine workers who came at aid and they called first help while the man explained what transpired. The man revealed that his reason to set himself on fire was because of his abusive wife.

The Johannesburg Mayor and the ANC Chairperson, Dada Morero, believes that the country should consider to hire properly documented foreign nationals as JMPD officers. He said this during the party's REC Lekgotla.

Yesterday the City of Tshwane experienced the biggest raid in history in Sunnyside, Pretoria. Sunnyside located near the Pretoria CBD is one of the oldest suburbs of the city of Pretoria, South Africa. The suburb is situated in the east of Nelson Mandela drive.  Ian Cameron came to visit Sunnyside few days ago, and he made a joke about how it’s known as “little Lagos”. The City of Tshwane together with the Tshwane Metro Police Department(TMPD) made the biggest operation in history.  The operation was made in Sunnyside and confiscated all the belongings of unregistered street vendors, where counterfeit goods, illegal firearms and amunation where confiscated on the scenes.  They also found Nigerian nationality with fraudulent South African ID's.
