A deceased woman whose body was found in a car driven by a 21-year-old man has been identified as Renee Lea.
Renee Lea is a co-owner of the Pick n Pay Family franchise and a resident of Standerton, in Mpumalanga.
Lea was was found murdered on August 24 in Pretoria, hours after being reported missing.
The provided CCTV footage showed her vehicle leaving Standerton around 20:11.
It is alleged that the suspect broke into her house, stolen some few things, made damage before killing her and kidnapped her during that time she was seen leaving home on the provided footage.
After tracing her car the Police found the suspect with Lea's lifeless body in the car, three firearms in the vehicle, including one replica, as well as laptops, cash, and her cellphone.
The suspect was apprehended on the 24 August 2024 at a petrol station in Moreletta Park in the early hours of Saturday.
