An abusive wife's actions pushes her husband to set himself on fire.

The medical aid was called on a scene after a man set himself on fire at Legabeng Village, after being abused by his wife. 

The incident of a man who set himself on fire happened near Marula platinum mine in burgersfort in Limpopo.

It is reported that the man was last seen with a container of a fuel going into the bushes, he then poured it on himself and also drank it and set himself on fire.

It is alleged that while he was burning he ran towards the mine as he pleaded for the help.

He was seen by some mine workers who came at aid and they called first help while the man explained what transpired.

The man revealed that his reason to set himself on fire was because of his abusive wife.
