Former Skeem Sam actress struggles financially.

A former 'Skeem Saam' actress Pebetsi Matlaila reveals she and her children live in a shelter.

Pebetsi Matlaila  who was known as Mokgadi on Skeem Sam, revealed that, she and her two children are living in a shelter as after being evicted from their rented place as she's facing financial constraints. 

Pebetsi admitted she had been trying to make ends meet with a few gigs here and there, but it wasn't enough.

“Me and my children are at a shelter. A woman and children safety house. We feel safe here. Everything is provided for,” she said. 

“I was losing it. Probably having a nervous breakdown. I shouldn't have come on social media but I had to accept my situation and also drive my own narrative.  

“I haven't slept in two nights. When my children were sleeping I was weeping all night. And yesterday [Tuesday] was my crashing point. Throughout the day I had no-one to talk to, no-one. All I needed was someone to hear me out. But at the end of the day, everyone has their own problems to deal with and I didn't want to burden anyone with mine.”
