A fatal shooting occurred earlier today at Doornfontein Taxi rank in Johannesburg, claiming the lives of five people and injuring others.
Reports indicate that a group of armed men entered the taxi rank, Enkomeni and fired shots everywhere.
Few individuals, including a university student who was waiting for a bus are among the injured and were rushed to the hospital.
Emergency services and law enforcement are on the scene and the authorities have launched a manhunt for the suspects.
The attack is suspected to be linked to taxi violence.
