In CCTV footage, which has been doing the rounds on social media, the 27-year-old man can be seen waiting with a woman and a child.

The suspect is then seen opening fire at point blank range, before fleeing with the victim’s firearm.

"It is alleged that on 13 April a man was shot and killed by unknown suspect at Durban Street in Greytown. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds in his body and he was declared dead on the scene by paramedics,” says KZN police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala.
