A School In South African Province received a 0% pass rate.

Naledi-Ya-Meso Secondary School in the Sekhukhune South Education District, Limpopo, recorded a 0% pass rate. This was the only school in the entire country to achieve zero passes in the 2025 NSC exams.

The school had just 15 matriculants, none of whom met the requirements to pass. Social media and news outlets quickly reacted with shock, questions about teacher accountability, learner preparation, and systemic issues in rural education.

Many called for a thorough investigation into factors such as resource shortages, attendance problems, teaching quality, or external challenges like poverty and infrastructure in the Sekhukhune region.
