The past weekend was a busy weekend for the South African Police Services in Limpopo, Musina and that led them to recover a hijacked truck and a grader worth millions.
It is alleged that the North West Police received a tip off, of a suspicious Truck carrying a grader at Coligny, suspected to have been travelling from the Namibia.
The investigations where logged but unfortunately they where unable to find the suspect at that time until the description was matched in Limpopo and the SAPS Team apprehended a 31 year old suspect, and he was arrested for possession of presumed stolen motor vehicle.
The following day through further investigations they where able to recover a grader which the suspect had already off loaded before he got arrested.
The truck is valued at 1.5 million while the grader is estimated at 3 million rand.
The suspect will appear before Musina Magistrate Court on Tuesday, 20 August 2024.
