 13 FOREIGN NATIONALS ARRESTED AFTER ATTACKING LIMPOPO POLICE OFFICERS WITH STONES WHILE ON DUTY IN MANKWENG  About 13 foreign nationals aged between 20 and 42 male suspects have been arrested for cases of attempted murder and assault GBH on 30 July 2024. This is after after the brazen attack on police officers while on duty on 16 July 2024 in Mankweng. Limpopo Police Spokesperson Colonel Colonel Ledwaba says that the officers were busy with investigation to trace suspect dealing in drugs when they got ambushed by a group of suspects  who threw stones and assaulted them. Spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba says that during the incident, some officers sustained injuries. Ledwaba says that they were transported to the hospital for medical treatment.  All the suspects appeared before Mankweng Magistrates court with charges of attempted murder and assault GBH

 Five suspects shot dead following intense exchange of gunfire with KZN SAPS in Cato Manor, KZN.  Suspects were wanted in connection with multiple cases of murder.

Police have seized an estimated R300 million worth of drugs in Fourways, Johannesburg.  In a related development, Johannesburg businessman and attorney Ashruf Kaka, who was kidnapped over three weeks ago on the West Rand, has been successfully located and released.  He was found in an area south of Johannesburg.

 The family of rapper Leslie "Da L.E.S' Mampe is devastated after he suffered a stroke on Friday evening. He is currently recovering at a Johannesburg hospital.  In a note sent out to close friends, Da L.E.S's friends said his mom, Priscilla Mampe, would appreciate assistance and the act of kindness in raising funds for his medical bills.  "Hi Friends, as support to Leslie's family while Les is in hospital, we are encouraging friends to assist in kind to Leslie's mother's account below,' the note said and included her banking details.  The Mampe family has confirmed that Da L.E.S is making improvements to his health. "Whilst he is in a stable condition, this remains a challenging time for his loved ones and his family calls on the public to keep him in their thoughts and prayers as they navigate this difficult period,' his family said.

 The Lesotho born rapper Malome Vector, real name Bokang Moleli, lost his life in a car accident at N8 in Free State, South Africa, earlier today. Malome Vector was in the company of his other two crew members, Lizwi Wokuqala and Puleng Phoofolo, who also died on the spot. Video below:
