Soshanguve Suspect Faces Additional Charges for Murder of Community Patrollers. A 27-year-old suspect has been slapped with 13 extra charges related to the killing of six community patrollers in Soshanguve, Pretoria. This development comes after his arrest last week for illegal possession of a firearm, ammunition, and immigration violations. The suspect, whose name has not been disclosed, made his second court appearance on Monday and was formally charged with murder and attempted murder. The fatal shooting occurred when local patrollers clashed with five unidentified men at the Marry Me informal settlement, north of Pretoria. An identity parade led to the suspect being linked to the mass killing. He is expected to return to court on Tuesday, where all 16 charges will be combined.
